The Moroccan national football team won the Arab Cup (Qatar-2025), defeating Jordan (3-2) on Thursday at Lusail Stadium.
The Atlas Lions opened the scoring in the fourth minute of play through Oussama Tannane, who unleashed a powerful shot from midfield that flew into the top corner of the net. In the 48th minute, Ali Olwan equalized for Jordan and then doubled the score in the 68th minute by converting a penalty kick.
The Atlas Lions leveled the score through Abderrazak Hamdallah three minutes before the end of regulation time in the second half, before former Mesfioui scored the winning goal for Morocco in the first period of extra time (100th minute).
This is the Atlas Lions' second title, following their victory in 2012.
